On the show, Justin’s health concerns were highlighted, but he also talked about how his weight created a barrier to people — they often avoided seeking a deeper connection with him. When Justin was in seventh grade he began to sing. Once people heard his voice, their perceptions of him began to change. At the request of the host, Justin belted out breath taking rendition of “Amazing Grace,” leaving the audience in awe.
