What happens when the ice cream truck comes rolling through the neighborhood with the music blaring?
All the kids come pouring out of their homes, right? Well on one street, it’s the neighborhood pit bull who comes running out of his owners home as soon as he hears the melody playing! This beautiful pit bull waits patiently in line, and then proceeds to the counter where his owner buys him a vanilla cone, which he proceeds to gobble up with glee! This is clearly the favorite part of the day for this excited doggy. Share with all of your dog loving friends and family!
For several weeks two small dogs were scrounging for food and trying to survive in a sewer underneath the 5 freeway in Los Angeles. Thankfully Hope for Paws arrived there in time and rescued the dogs.
It wasn’t without difficulty though, as Eldad Hagar and Vanessa Enriquez crawled through a long narrow sewer tunnel to reach the animals and when they got there the dogs were naturally scared of the newcomers. The brother dog protected his sister as the rescuers approached. It would take patience and a lot of coaxing to bring the brother and sister around and earn trust. They were able to then be caught, but had major issues about being separated.
Cola and Pepsi were successfully brought back and are now being cared for at Maltese Rescue California.
Check out this heartwarming rescue story and share with friends and family so this brother and sister can find a new home!

Every parent will be able to relate to this video, as every parent out there knows how tough it can be to get your young one to take a nap or actually go to bed. What’s funny about this video, is that it shows a similar scenario, taken from the dogs’ world – a German Shepherd mom who insists that her pup will take a nap.
What’s even more special, is that the puppy, Kali, was actually rescued, and Mother German Shepherd has actually stepped in as it’s mother. All these things together – the cute puppy who would not settle down and sleep, and Mom that forces him to, have made this video go viral, and we aren’t surprised.

A German shepherd led firefighters to a burning home in Florida, where emergency responders found two children trapped inside.
On Monday night, around 11:20 p.m., firefighters rushed to a Longwood home and smashed through the burning building’s windows to rescue two adults.
“We were outside with my telescope, looking at Jupiter with my next door neighbor,” the family’s neighbor, Chip Dover, told Today. “We were getting ready to come in when we heard a big explosion, and the house just blew up. We ran over there immediately and it was burning like crazy, and then we realized the family was still inside.”
Dover and the firefighters worked tirelessly to pull Margo and her husband, Brent, from the flames right before the house nearly burned to the ground.
Moments later, the family’s German shepherd, Maxx, came running outside to find help for the two small children still trapped inside.
The trusty dog immediately led firefighters back inside the smoky home, upstairs to the children’s bedroom, where they discovered a 2-year-old and a 4-year-old.
While all the family members, including Maxx, are currently being treated for burns and smoke inhalation, they wouldn’t even be alive today had their quick-thinking dog not acted when he did.
“We are grateful to the neighbors who jumped into action, and we especially thank the firefighters who selflessly entered the burning structure and risked their lives for the Feaser family,” SCSD Sheriff Don Eslinger said in a press release. “There is a long road of recovery and rebuilding ahead, but our Sheriff’s Office family will be with Margo and her family every step of the way. We know our community is behind them too, and we appreciate the tremendous outpouring of support the family has received.”
According to the State Fire Marshal’s preliminary investigation, the fire, which started on the family’s back porch, was likely accidental.
Shortly after the accident, a GoFundMe page was set up for the family, and the campaign has already reached nearly $28,000 in a matter of days.
